Frequently Asked Questions

Is this art really chalk?

Well, the illustrations begin that way. However, all the artwork is eventually scanned and then modified using Adobe Photoshop. The end result is a digital mixed-media design which can be printed onto paper as well as many other substrates and materials.

If I order a digital file, what is the best way for me to print it?

If you order a digital file, you will be provided a high-resolution (300dpi) file to print. For best results, Rockin’ Chalk prints should be output onto card stock / medium-weight paper using a Laser Printer, if possible, or a very high-quality ink jet printer. You can bring or email your high-resolution file to service bureaus such as FedEx Office, Office Depot or Staples and they can print your design on commercial grade equipment for very reasonable prices.

My event is in a week and I just found you! Can I get this job rushed?!?!?  (and yes, this question is normally asked with a lot of exclamation marks and sometimes all caps.)

We do try to accommodate rush orders to the best of our ability. Rush charges and rush shipping charges do apply. If we simply cannot deliver within a specific time frame, we do reserve the right to decline the order. The practicality of meeting a tight deadline is determined by many factors, so these requests are considered on a case-by-case basis.
